It’s technically the first day of fall today and what better way to celebrate than with a fall tour?  I’ve joined with a group of bloggers to bring you fun ideas for fall mantels, tablescapes, wreaths, and thrifty crafts.  Once you check out all the details of this simple fall wreath be sure to scroll to the bottom of the post for links to all the other fabulous fall ideas!

Metallics are so big this season!  Walk through the aisles of your local craft store and you’ll see bronze, silver, and gold pumpkins and leaves filling the shelves.  I love the classy touch that metallics and glitter are adding to fall decor.  I picked up a small pile of metallic orange pumpkins and knew they’d be perfect for a simple wreath.

I made a stencil on my cutting machine …

… then used it to stencil onto burlap ribbon with mod podge and dark orange glitter.

I glued the miniature pumpkins together in a square shape …

… and attached the burlap to the back of the wreath.  The look is so simple but so pretty …

… and it looks perfect hanging on my old vintage window.  I’m so ready to sip hot apple cider from my vintage thermos and enjoy the season {hopefully some cool weather will hit soon and really make it feel like fall}!

Cute wreath! Love the metallics and also that it’s a square not the typical wreath in a circle. Your vintage thermos makes my heart go pitter-patter!!
