A Crown for a Princess

Tate is like the Hand Me Down Princess.  As the youngest of five and the third girl, she gets a pile of hand-me-downs.  I decided she deserved a little crown of her own.

{Okay, I may have just needed a little knitting project.}

I knit this little crown from yarn in the scrap pile, using a free pattern online {this pattern is no longer available but I’m sure you can google for a similar one}.  Purple for royalty.  It was such a quick, mindless, fun knit.

Tate really likes her new crown and modeled it for the family all morning.

And here’s the juxtaposition that is Tate: a crown on her head and a squished bug in her hand.

She reminds me of the Paper Bag Princess.

I’ve started truncating my posts … please pop over to my blog to read the rest!

    I picture her singing….”I’m squishing up a baby bumblebee…” My daughter is 2 and sings that song frequently! The crown is lovely! Thanks for sharing!
