Today I’m sharing one last detail from Luke’s shooting range birthday party: his target birthday shirt.
When my kids are young, I love to make a special shirt for them to wear to their birthday party. This target shirt was a perfect fit for Luke’s party and was so simple to make.
I used my Silhouette software to make the target. I used the “draw an ellipse” function and held down the shift button to make perfect circles. I drew four different-sized circles …
… then lined them up perfectly by aligning them in the middle and the center.
It made a perfect target that I cut from vinyl and used as a stencil. I painted the target with fabric paint and when it was dry, painted Luke’s name over it {using another stencil that I made with my cutting machine}.
So simple to make but a birthday shirt adds something special and sets the birthday child apart from all the other partygoers.

Really cute! My older daughter is in love with archery – this would be a great shirt for all types of “shooting” sports. It could also be re-purposed to make suns, planets, or overall, repeated designs!
