21 DIY Projects for American Girl Dolls

We love American Girl dolls in this house.  We’ve had a couple of DIY American Girl birthday parties, Lila has dressed up as an American Girl for Halloween, I built a doll closet for all the clothes, Kennedy and I went to Chicago to see the original American Girl Store {I’ve been to four different stores in four different cities}, we’ve subscribed to the magazine for years, and we pore over the catalog when it comes.

Lila has been saving her money {for over a year} for a new doll and we stopped by yesterday and left with Isabelle, the 2014 Doll of the Year {and had a fun celebrity sighting}.  The new doll has prompted a lot of talk about new clothes and new beds and new accessories and I’ve been doing some searching for DIY projects I might tackle for Lila’s upcoming birthday.  I thought I’d share them with you in case you have some American Girl-loving daughters in your home!  Check out these DIY projects for American Girl dolls and let me know which one you like best!

I believe they do take any doll but you could phone your local store to verify for sure.
