I’ve always loved the nautical look.  Crisp navy and white stripes interspersed with bright red tones and patterns, white rope and big knots, large utilitarian anchors, and a clean look that feels fresh and fun, especially during the spring and summer months.  I absolutely love that the nautical trend has come back {it makes me want to dig out my red sailor dress and silver anchor earrings from the 80’s} so I gathered 20 nautical crafts and projects to continue the inspiration!  If you love a nautical or coastal flair in your home or lake house, or love to dress in a crisp nautical style, you’ll love these ideas!

Nautical and Coastal Style Home Decor

Whether you like navy, red, and blue in your home or you just love a small touch of nautical in some of the rooms {a bathroom, maybe?}, these fun ideas will bring a nautical twist to your style.  The nautical theme can be captured not only with color and symbols but also with the use of rope in your decor and there are some really great projects below that add that industrial component well.

Randi, Hi. My sons’ room is nautical and it is my favorite. I just recently found your blog and I am enjoying it soooo much.

    Randi,
So many great ideas. I am hosting a nautical craft party at Jo-Ann’s next month and working on my ideas now. Lots of inspiration here!
