It’s time for another repurposing post … and this time I have 12 fabulous ways to repurpose old suitcases!

Clever Ways to Upcycle Old Suitcases

How amazing is this suitcase hotel?  The details are so quaint.  I wonder if I could do this with an old suitcase and some dollhouse supplies from the craft store?

If a hotel isn’t your thing, how about a dollhouse made from a suitcase?  I love the chalkboard exterior on this house … the kids could change it every day.

This suitcase welcome sign is so sweet.  Can’t you just imagine it on the steps of a cottage or outside the door of a Bed ‘n’ Breakfast?

I don’t think my husband would love this idea but I think this medicine cabinet made from a suitcase is brilliant.  A fun, vintage touch for a bathroom.

A suitcase bar is a clever way to repurpose an old suitcase.  Stack it on top of a buffet or hang it on a wall for unique decor with a practical purpose.

You could also make a chair from an old suitcase.  I’ve seen a lot of versions of this but I love this one made from a round case.

A cat or a dog bed is a great use for old luggage … add some legs and a pillow and your sweet pet will have the perfect place to sleep.

I really like the idea of a suitcase shelf {and these ones look like they’re attached to an old door which makes them even better, right?}.

A vintage suitcase is a sweet spot for notes at a baby shower …

… or a clever bedside table.

And this idea is so fun!  Add some speakers to an old suitcase and turn it into a classy way to share music.

So many great ideas. Love the dollhouses and Kelly’s bar. I’ve been on the hunt for an old metal suitcase to use for that purpose after seeing an outrageously expensive one at Pottery Barn.
