A Duct Tape Belt {for Girls}

Duck Brand Duck Tape recently released a pile of new Duck Tape prints.  I was really excited when I saw the great new prints and I’ve been itching to make something.  This argyle print is so preppy cute and I thought it would make a fun duct tape belt for Lila.  I love the pink and gray combination!

To make the belt, I ripped two strips of equal length, one white {the wrong side of the belt} and one argyle. I ripped the white one again lengthwise to make it the appropriate width.

I laid the thinner white strip down the middle of the argyle strip, sticky sides together …

… then wrapped the sides of the argyle around the white and pressed it together.

I folded the belt over two D rings, then held the folded part in place with a strip of white tape.
I cut a little argyle from the tape and stuck it on top of the white to jazz it up a bit.
And that’s it.  Lila waited right beside me the whole time and couldn’t wait to model it.  Cute, huh?

I can’t wait to share some of the other Duck Tape prints with you.  If you want to grab some yourself, this month the new prints should be available in AC Moore, Hobby Lobby, Joann, Michaels, Meijer, Fred Meyer, and Walmart.  Have fun!
