This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of GE Appliances. The opinions and text are all mine.

Do you sit down for family meals during the week? Although our lives are busy and there are seven of us to coordinate, having a family meal time is a huge priority in our home. Even if our time is rushed, I like to sit down together, enjoy a meal, and catch up on the day. A lot of living takes place in our weeknight kitchen.

Family meal time isn’t optional but everyone gets to the table a bit faster when I’m serving something they love. My roasted potato mix always gets rave reviews and the pan gets gobbled up.

two potato mix

To make them, I simply cut up sweet potatoes and red potatoes, toss them with a generous amount of olive oil {approximately a quarter cup}, season them generously with salt, pepper, and rosemary {and occasionally a little thyme from the garden}, and bake them at 400 degrees for 20-40 minutes {the baking time varies depending on the size of the potato cubes}. It’s such a simple side dish but my family always gives them the thumbs up.

Like my roasted potato mix, new GE Appliances are getting the thumbs up as well. Want to hear some of the highlights?

The Hands-Free Auto Fill Refrigerator lets you automatically fill water glasses while you’re busy doing something else. This would be perfect for my little ones who constantly overfill their glasses! You can press a button, walk away, and the water will turn off when the container is 90% full. Pretty cool technology, right?

Heat control makes all the difference in cooking and GE is on top of it with the Double Oven Range and Tri Ring Burner. The tri ring burner allows for better heat control {from a slow simmer to a hard boil} while the double oven allows you to cook two different dishes at two different temperatures. Perfect for entertaining!

Perhaps my favorite? The dishwasher with the 102 jet wash system {yep, 102 cleaning jets!} … because the only thing worse than prewashing is rewashing! Some of those jets are bottle wash jets, perfect for baby bottles, water bottles, carafes {I can never get those clean}, and vases. This appliance is definitely on my wish list!

Weeknight dinners should be quick and easy for any busy family.  GE Appliances can help streamline the kitchen process with their hands-free auto-fill refrigerator, their double oven range, to their 102 jet wash system dishwasher.  To see these appliances in action check out GE: Kitchen Reimagined.  For more tips on weeknight dinners head over to FoodNetwork Weeknight Kitchen page for recipes, tips, and much more!
