Teacher Appreciation

Friday is Teacher Appreciation Day at our homeschool co-op so Kennedy spent some time in the kitchen this afternoon making chocolate-dipped pretzel rods for the big day.
A bit of munching went on as well.
It seems I’m drawn to quirky knitting projects so one of Kennedy’s teachers (who always comments on my knitting) is also getting this apple cozy. Its purpose is to keep an apple from getting bruised in a lunch bag but I thought it was a fun apple-for-teacher idea. It closes with a bobble clasp (and holds the biggest apple I could find at Kroger).
I’ve started truncating my posts … please pop over to my blog to read the rest!

I never thought to put sprinkles on the white chocolate. Super cute!! Makes me hungry for pretzels.

The apple cracks me up. What a fun idea.

Great ideas! I’ve made the dipped pretzel rods for Christmas gifts before, and I rolled them in crushed peppermints (red and green). I have the hardest time finding pretzel rods, though. Where did you get them?
