Goggles

My kids all like to wear goggles in the pool but the cheap straps often snap, making the goggles useless. Luke was so upset when his Buzz Lightyear goggles broke this year that I decided to come up with a fix-it solution (I’m too cheap to buy another pair at the dollar store). I measured his head and used a zig-zag stitch to sew on an elastic strap. I’m sure millions of other people have already come up with this idea but I’m so pleased with it … a strap that will hold up to the elements and won’t have to be continually size-adjusted.

Lila’s goggles also got a new elastic band.

Probably not millions! You’re ingenious. I’ve never thought of it, I’m sure there are some pairs around I can fix now!
