I live in Texas where chips and salsa are almost staples in our diet!  I’m not a salsa snob at all … I love almost every kind including this easy blender salsa recipe that takes just minutes to make and uses fresh produce from the garden, the farmer’s market, or your local grocery store {wink}.  The best part of this recipe is that clean up is a breeze!  Who wants to spend time cleaning the kitchen when you can be lounging on the patio enjoying summer?

1/2-1 jalapeno

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and

salt and pepper to taste.

Toss all the ingredients in your blender {a food processor works too} and blend until the ingredients are combined.

Place the salsa in your fridge for an hour or so to let the flavors fully combine and then serve with tortilla chips.

I learned to love salsa after living in San Antonio for three years. Now I keep some in the house at all times, and usually different varieties. Thanks for sharing at #HomeMattersParty
