An Embellished Dress {and Back to School Fashion}

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Moxie Jean. The opinions and text are all mine.

I’ve just discovered a new website that is fabulous! Fabulously affordable, that is! I love to dress my kids in name brand clothes but I absolutely hate name brand prices {and so does my ultra-frugal husband}. When the kids are growing so quickly, I just can’t justify spending a fortune on an outfit they might only wear a handful of times. Enter Moxie Jean. Moxie Jean sells your favorite name brands {Gap, Hanna Andersson, Gymboree and more} gently used at 75% or more off the retail price!

Moxie Jean website

Moxie Jean is for moms who want to buy and sell high-quality, gently used kids’ clothing … and with a free postage-paid Moxie Jean Mailer Bag included with each order, it’s easy to turn outgrown clothes into cash or Moxie Money.

The site is so easy to navigate and the clothes are displayed in such an appealing way. You can sort by size, gender, designer … whatever category will make your shopping easiest.

website

And the site even has selections chosen by stylists. I love the way they’re laid out. It makes it easy to find items that will instantly match your child’s style.

Check out my quick instagram video to see how simple it is.

We ordered a pile of clothes for my younger girls but one Gymboree dress in particular was a favorite!

You know I can’t resist adding a little handmade touch to everything. I used my cutting machine to cut layers of flowers then hot glued {yep, glued} them together and added a pin and a bright orange button.

flower embellishment

It looks adorable on the dress and can also be attached to a hair clip for another sweet look.

My little one looked so cute all decked out in bright flowers. And wanna know how much she loves this outfit? She chose to wear it to meet her new kindergarten teacher!

I love the dress too but you know what I love even more? Because I didn’t spend a fortune on it, when I see Tate wearing it to climb a tree or dig in the dirt, I’ll look the other way and just let her be a kid.

play time

If you don’t find that perfect outfit the first time around, hundreds of new outfits are added every Monday and Thursday so check back often.

And want a little inspirational tidbit before you start shopping? Moxie Jean’s motto is reduce, reuse, recycle. Items that don’t sell or that are lightly damaged go to Kid’s Pantry in Chicago {where Moxie Jean is based}.

So are you ready to grab some great clothes for your kids? Use discount code LOOK4LESS32 to get $10 of Moxie Money for every $50 you spend {or $25 for every $100 you spend}.

And be sure to enter this great giveaway!
