A Tea Party with Earth’s Best

This morning seemed like the perfect day for a tea party.  The older kids are almost through with school and quiet {or not so quiet} days with Tate will come to an end for a little while.

I took our chalk table and some chairs outside and set the table for Tate and Dolly.

The tea set came down from the closet shelf, little napkins were rolled and placed in rings, a small bouquet {so pleasing to Tate!} was placed on the table, and I used a little chalk to mark the guests’ places and draw some cutlery.

Since this was a very impromptu tea party, I had to scrounge the cupboard for some finger snacks.  Earth’s Best came through!  I made a little cake plate out of the tea set and served Sweet Potato Cinnamon Pop Snax.  {Have you tried these?  They’re a slightly sweet, delicious snack that’s fun to eat and healthy too.  They’re a good source of zinc, vitamins A and E, and six B vitamins.  And, as always, they contain no artificial colors or preservatives.}

Tate {and Dolly} loved the tea party.  Tate drank her tea juice …

… and even remembered to behave like a lady.  Good manners, Tate!

I have to take advantage of these tea party days before they’re long gone and my babies are all in college!  The days go quickly, don’t they?
