A Repurposed Bundt Pan Christmas Wreath

This year I feel less inclined to dig our old Christmas decorations out of the attic and more inclined to repurpose and invent some new Christmas decor.  I think I’m just longing for a bit of freshness in the holiday season.  One of those new decorations is the repurposed bundt pan Christmas wreath hanging proudly on my front door.

The vintage metal bundt pan came from my parents’ cupboard but you can always find old metal bundt pans at your local thrift store.  You can usually pick one up for just a dollar or two.  I like the ones that have a bit of a fanciful edge but any bundt pan will work.

I spray painted this pan with a bright glossy red paint, let it dry completely, then hung it with a burlap ribbon through the center.  I chose a burlap ribbon that has a red edge to pull out the red of the pan.

I love the simplicity of this bundt pan Christmas wreath and it adds the perfect pop of Christmas color and cheer to our dark front door.
Are you adding any new Christmas decorations this year?

Such a fun idea! I am trying to make some new decorations because I want to go with different colors than last year but I haven’t gotten too many things done yet.
