A Paper Flower Baby Mobile

I love this floral wreath mobile found in the latest Pottery Barn Kids catalog (but not for sale like many of the fun decorative features in PB Kids) and since Tate is transitioning into her crib and her shared room I had to make it.

I used a grapevine wreath ($2 on sale at Hobby Lobby) and used floral craft punches and all my scrapbook paper scraps to make lots of flowers. I layered some of the flowers to add texture and left some by themselves.

The mobile is hanging over her crib, held up with ribbon and some major hardware (I don’t want it falling on Tate in the night). I may raise the mobile a bit when Tate starts consistently standing up but right now I hope she’ll gaze at the pretty pink flowers and drift off to sleep.

Cute but I am wondering how long it will take for Tate to use that as a tire swing. I am thinking two more months. Enjoy!
