A Homemade Gift :: Salted Caramel Sauce

This week, our PTO will have a final meeting before Christmas break.  We have a great board of officers and I wanted to give them a little Christmas gift to show them how much I appreciate them.

I made a couple of batches of Lovely Salted Caramel Sauce {from Always with Butter}.  The recipe was so simple to make {although I had to continually remind myself not to stir} and it’s absolutely delicious.  It truly is a lovely sauce with just a hint of salty flavor.  I can’t wait to try some on a big bowl of chocolate ice cream.

I packaged the sauce in mason jars {again with cupcake wrappers on the lids}, added a simple paper label, and wrapped the jars in twine with a little ornament left over from Tate’s party.

I think a little homemade gift is such a delightful way to celebrate the season.
