A Christmas Book Countdown

Every December I set out a basket of Christmas books for the kids to read throughout the month but this year I decided we’d join the blogging crowds and do a book countdown. I wrapped up every Christmas book we have and each day the kids open one and we read it.

I’m already enjoying this new-to-us activity and look forward to reading our way through all of our Christmas books.

I didn’t have a lot of Christmas books growing up, but I did have one called Santa Mouse. It was a really cute story, and we always left a slice of cheese out with our milk and cookies for Santa Mouse!

I love this idea! I’m hoping to stock up on Christmas books after Christmas when they go on sale.
