This pull apart bread recipe is part of a sponsored post for Tom Thumb and Albertsons.  All opinions are my own.

Pull apart bread is so popular right now and I couldn’t resist combining my favorite flavors to create my own recipe!  This coffee chocolate chip pull apart bread is not too sweet, making it completely acceptable for breakfast {wink} or the perfect treat alongside an afternoon cup of coffee.  And, like all my favorite recipes, it’s easy to make!

I bought the ingredients for this pull apart bread at my local Tom Thumb store, earning gas rewards at the same time!

In a partnership with Chevron, Albertsons has just launched a new Gas Rewards program and Tom Thumb has expanded their current Gas Rewards program in Dallas and North Texas.  Existing Tom Thumb Reward Members can earn and redeem points by using their Reward Card or phone number and new shoppers can enroll in the program by downloading the Tom Thumb or just for U app.  You can also enroll at TomThumb.com or Albertsons.com/rewards.  Once you’re registered, you’ll earn one point for every dollar you spend on participating items and then redeem those points at the pump.  You can redeem up to 20 cents per gallon at participating Chevron and Texaco locations or up to $1 per gallon at Tom Thumb and Albertsons gas stations.  Don’t you love getting a little extra savings just for buying groceries?

So head over to Tom Thumb or Albertsons to grab the ingredients for this coffee chocolate chip pull apart bread!

You’ll need

one package of homestyle refrigerated biscuits

8 tablespoons butter, melted

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

1/2 cup powdered sugar

4 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

1 tablespoon instant coffee

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Lightly grease a loaf pan and, to make assembly easier, prop it up on a dish towel so it’s sitting at about a 45 degree angle.  That’ll make it easier to stack and stagger the biscuits.

In a bowl, combine the melted butter and 2 tablespoons instant coffee, stirring well to completely dissolve the coffee.  Stir in the brown sugar until dissolved.

Separate each biscuit into two or three layers.  Dip a layer into the butter mixture and lay it in the pan.  Repeat, staggering the next biscuit to fill the width of the pan.  Sprinkle a few mini chocolate chips in between each layer and repeat until you’ve used all the biscuits.

Place the loaf pan flat on the counter and use your fingers to space out the biscuits, giving them room to expand as they bake.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until the biscuits are cooked through.  Remove from the oven and let cool slightly while you prepare the glaze.
