Sangria Popsicles

Summer and sangria.  Perfect partners.  A few weeks ago, I shared a recipe for sangria floats {and oh my, they’re a must try!} and today I want to show you another so-simple way to use sangria: freeze it up and turn it into sangria popsicles!

You can make your own sangria or use store-bought sangria.  Either is delicious but store-bought is obviously a bit easier {and far quicker}.

Simply pour the sangria into popsicle molds and freeze until solid.

Because the sangria contains alcohol, they won’t freeze into a super hard popsicle and you’ll want to eat them fairly quickly once you take them out of the freezer.

For a fun treat, try serving the sangria popsicles in a glass of sprite or white or red wine.  They’d even be delicious served in a glass of champagne!

Enjoy this grown-up summer treat … and be sure to pop over to pin my recipe for mimosa popsicles!
