I’m hosting Tate’s little playgroup Easter party this week and although I’m planning on keeping it simple, I had to add a few festive touches so it feels like a party. These Easter bunny water bottles can be whipped up in just minutes and they’ll add a super cute element to the snack table.
To make these simple bunny water bottles, you’ll need a roll of plain white duct tape, white cardstock, small or large white pom poms, and pink and black sharpies.
Cut ovals from the white cardstock {two per bottle} and use a pink sharpie to color the centers. I wanted a whimsical look so I just scribbled down the middle but you could color an oval in the center or cut smaller ovals from pink cardstock if you want a less whimsical look. To make ovals that all look the same, use a cutting machine or a stencil. If neither of those are available, you can find a template online and use that to trace the oval shape.
Tear a strip of white duct tape {long enough to fit around the bottle} and attach the ears in the middle …
… then wrap the duct tape around the bottle.
Use the sharpies to add a triangle nose, dot eyes, and whiskers …
… and finish it off by gluing a small white pom pom to the back of the bottle to create the bunny tail.
These water bottles are completely simple and cheap to make but super cute …
… and just right for a playgroup Easter party. You could even let the kids decorate their own water bottles as a party craft!
