My oldest leaves for college this week and I’m finishing up last minute lists and trying to think of every single thing he may need in the weeks ahead. Snacks jumped to the top of the list so I made a dorm care package with a bunch of his favorites and whipped up a cute printable to go along with it!
To make your own dorm care package, use any container you want. A locker basket or a laundry bag are perfect for holding snacks and can be used practically in the dorm room when the snacks are gone.
Fill the basket or bag with all the favorite snacks and treats of your student. I filled this care package with a large variety of things: cookies and crackers, microwaveable meals, granola bars, breakfast cookies, popcorn packets, and oatmeal. Oh, and plenty of k-cups for my coffee-loving college guy!

… then attach it to the basket or tape it to a long wooden skewer and stick it into the basket of snacks.
This dorm care package is such an easy idea but it’ll keep the late-night hunger pains away and will keep my mom worries at bay. After all, I don’t want to picture my boy starving in his dorm room {wink}!
