15 DIY Clocks to Make

I love clocks and lately I’ve seen some fabulous DIY clocks to make.  I gathered up fifteen ideas that would all make great accents in a home!

This stenciled clock has a fun houndstooth pattern but the real fun is made with quirky, eclectic three-dimensional numbers.

This yellow clock looks like a flower but it’s actually made from plastic spoons!  What a novel and budget-friendly idea.

This chalkboard clock is made from a thrift store pot lid.  Perfect for a kitchen, right?  I love the black and white contrast.

Or you can make a clock from a simple piece of reclaimed wood.

This clock made from a vintage record would look really fun in a media or game room …

… and these clocks made with fabric and embroidery hoops would be perfect for a craft room … or really, any room.  These are definitely a favorite for me.

This colorful clock made from wooden circles is so bright and happy, isn’t it?

And this bicycle wheel clock is completely unique.  What a great upcycle, from the tire to the yardstick hands!

This clock was made from a $1 vintage ceiling tile found at a flea market … another unique upcycle.

I love this clock made from books … it has me wanting to find some classic hardcovers at the thrift stores.

Art supplies make a creative clock like this colored marker clock …

… or you could dig into the toybox and copy this clock made with figurines {this one is on my project list}.

How about a paint chip clock?  This idea could be personalized to match any room.

… and so does a sunburst necktie clock.  What a great way to upcycle a pile of old thrift store ties.
