Groundhog Day Treats

I know everyone’s already heavily into the Valentine’s Day planning but I have to pause the loving madness for just a minute and share some fun Groundhog Day ideas.  After all, who doesn’t want to celebrate a cute furry little rodent?

Last year I served my kids little groundhogs in pudding cups.  I’m not sure what we’ll do this year but I’m inspired by these fun ideas.

I love themed hot cocoa {reindeer cocoa, anyone?} and I think this groundhog cocoa is a must for my kiddos.

Is anything cuter than a groundhog in a push pop?  I love this little guy.

Groundhog cupcakes are always fun …

… and you can’t go wrong with groundhog cake pops.  Don’t you just love the fact that someone has actually made ground hog cake pops?

Or keep it simple and make this groundhog donut.  My guys would sure love starting the day with that!

Will you be celebrating Groundhog Day?  And what’s your vote – shadow or no shadow?

I’ve started truncating my posts … please pop over to my blog to read the rest!
Randi Dukes About Randi Dukes

I’m Randi, a wife and stay-at-home mom of five kids, ranging from preschool to high school. I love strong coffee, craft and DIY projects, my planner, my laptop, and my big ol’ family. When I’m not creating something for my blog, I can be found in the car, running kids from one place to another. I’m the one knitting at the red light.

  1. Such cute ideas!

  2. <3 these ideas! I always use Groundhog Day as an excuse to watch the movie which, to this day, still makes me laugh.

  3. Love these ideas! I’ve never made anything fun for Groundhog Day but my kids would love it!

  4. I live in Punxsutawney, PA (home of the groundhog) and every year make groundhog cookies. Our town looks forward to the holiday every. Part of our celebration even includes fireworks at sunrise!

  5. Great ideas! I love…LOVE the push pop. So cute!
