A Monogrammed Gift Bag

I came across an after-Christmas clearance deal yesterday that I couldn’t resist.  Felt gift bags {wine bags, really} at my local fabric store for ninety-nine cents!  I tossed a couple in the cart and jazzed them up with a heat transfer monogram.

I have to share a photo of this bag because it would be so easy to DIY.  It’s just three pieces of felt.  I love the simplicity.  The white felt patch on the front is actually a pocket which makes it even cuter … it’s the perfect place to slip a little note.

To monogram the bag, I used teal heat transfer, made a monogram on the Silhouette software, and adhered it to the outside of the white pocket on the bag.

I love the simple, classy look of the bag and may run back and grab a few more for gift-giving next Christmas.
