A Knit Beret

This beret was my final knitting project of 2012 {see other 2012 projects here}.  I knit it for a friend who frequently wears hats, hoping she’ll like it.  You’re always taking chances with homemade gifts, aren’t you?

This picture will tell you how desperate I was to get it in the mail … I snapped a few no-make-up shots before I raced to the post office.

I love the spiral decrease pattern and I loved the mindless knitting of those December evenings.

What are you knitting or crocheting right now?
Pattern: Beret by Kat Coyle from Greetings from Knit Cafe {affiliate link}

Randi Dukes About Randi Dukes

I’m Randi, a wife and stay-at-home mom of five kids, ranging from preschool to high school. I love strong coffee, craft and DIY projects, my planner, my laptop, and my big ol’ family. When I’m not creating something for my blog, I can be found in the car, running kids from one place to another. I’m the one knitting at the red light.
