New York, New York

The Sandra Lee event took me to New York for my first visit.  Our itinerary was fairly packed with event functions but we did manage to take in some sights {even if it was at a running pace}.  It gave me enough of a taste that I can’t wait to go back with Phil sometime.

… the Chrysler Building {this particular view is from my hotel window} …

Radio City Music Hall {where the NFL Draft was taking place … the street was lined with media trucks} …

… the American Girl Place {I had to step foot in the door so I can say I’ve been to four different American Girl stores!} …

… and Times Square.

We ate pizza at John’s Pizzeria

… and took a little cheesecake back to the hotel for a late night snack.

I slept for about three hours {in a neat boutique hotel} and then took a car to the airport and headed home.  It was definitely the most spontaneous, whirlwind trip I’ve ever taken!

Have you been to New York City?  What’s your favorite spot?

I’ve started truncating my posts … please pop over to my blog to read the rest!
Randi Dukes About Randi Dukes

I’m Randi, a wife and stay-at-home mom of five kids, ranging from preschool to high school. I love strong coffee, craft and DIY projects, my planner, my laptop, and my big ol’ family. When I’m not creating something for my blog, I can be found in the car, running kids from one place to another. I’m the one knitting at the red light.
